Pressman wanted in Thurston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Thurston County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
