Lathe programmer-operator — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Franklin County, Maine. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
