Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Scioto County, Ohio. You will work at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience.
