Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Orleans County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Orleans County, Vermont. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Full-time, day shift.
