Fusing press operator wanted in South Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
