Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Ben Hill County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
