Nursery worker — Monroe County

Join our team: we are hiring a nursery worker in Monroe County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Full-time, day shift.
