Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Suffolk, England. Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Day-to-day duties: • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations 1+ years on the tools preferred.
