Moulder — Bakori

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Bakori, Katsina State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Six days a week, one day off.
