Plant operator — DeSoto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in DeSoto County, Florida. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. On a typical shift you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
