Groundworker — Owen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Owen County, Indiana. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
