Insulation worker • Mitchell County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring an insulation worker in Mitchell County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise façade. Day-to-day duties: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
