Foundry labourer — Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
