Milling machine operator wanted in Williamson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Williamson County, Illinois. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
