Foundry worker — Cheatham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Cheatham County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
