Join our team: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Lapeer County, Michigan. You will work at a shopfitting company. On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Rotating shifts.
