TIG welder — Meigs County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Meigs County, Tennessee. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
