Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Polk County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
