Roofing technician • Kent County, Rhode Island

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Kent County, Rhode Island. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. You should have: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Day to day you will seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; insulate and ventilate the roof void; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
