Great opportunity: we are hiring a general labourer in Athens County, Ohio. You will be based with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height The role involves break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer.
