Presser — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Franklin County, Kansas. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
