Concrete placer — DeSoto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in DeSoto County, Florida. Day to day you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
