Fine-dining server — Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fine-dining server in Douglas County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments You should have: • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
