Elevator repair technician wanted in Grayson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Grayson County, Texas. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators.
