Foundry worker — Webster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Webster County, Missouri. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
