Immediate opening: we are hiring a floor screeder in Clinton County, Michigan. The job is in a residential housing project. You will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
