On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics.
