Groundworker • Logan County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundworker in Logan County, Nebraska. You will work with a civil contractor. On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio We offer $140 per day plus benefits.
