Window glazier — Calhoun County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a window glazier in Calhoun County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
