Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in.
