Safety inspector • Cass County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Cass County, Texas. The job is at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience.
