Stamping press operator — Saline County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Saline County, Nebraska. The job is at an auto components factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
