Gas meter installer — Rutland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Rutland County, Vermont. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
