Machine operator (earthworks) — Boyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Boyd County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site On a typical shift you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
