Backhoe operator • Wilson County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Wilson County, Kansas. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
