Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Jackson County, Missouri. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
