Gang bricklayer — Middlesbrough

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Middlesbrough, England. You will work on a commercial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
