Lathe operator — Saint Joseph County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. You will set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
