Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Independence County, Arkansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions.
