Urgent requirement: mining dozer operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Otsego County, New York. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
