Slinger signaller — Hanson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Hanson County, South Dakota. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
