Cold room technician • Lynn County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold room technician in Lynn County, Texas. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Part-time with flexible hours.
