Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Akoko North East, Ondo State. The job is at a power plant. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦1,750 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
