Press shop operator — Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Livingston County, Michigan. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts You will record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
