Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Montour County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
