Plant operator — Talbot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Talbot County, Maryland. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
