Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Clayton County, Iowa. The job is at a food processing plant. You will clean condenser and evaporator coils; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
