Backhoe operator — Ellis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ellis County, Kansas. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On the job you will handle: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Rotating shifts.
