QC inspector wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC inspector in Union County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
