Offshore rigger — Bronx County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Bronx County, New York. You will be based at a shipyard. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
